Guildford High School achieves spectacular A-level results

Guildford High School has had a spectacular set of results, with almost half (43%) of A-levels taken there being awarded the brand new A* grade. 14 pupils at the school achieved 3 or more A* grades.

Other facts and figures include:

   
Cyan square 88% of A-levels were awarded A* or A grades

Guildford High School is an independent girls’ school and a member of the United Church Schools Trust (UCST).

Fiona Boulton, Headmistress of Guildford High School, said: “Once again pupils at Guildford High have performed outstandingly. This year, results day is particularly significant as the introduction of the A* has given the top performers – those scoring almost full marks in their exams – the chance to prove their ability. That almost half of the examinations taken here were in that league is delightful and a huge cause for celebration here at Guildford High.”
