Remembering UCST in your will

Taking the time to make a will gives you peace of mind and also ensures that the people you love are provided for. The family is of course the priority for most people.

But remembering charities in your will ensures the causes you care about are helped too. By leaving a legacy to the Jubilee Fund of United Church Schools Trust you will directly help individual children. Our Group is educating children in the most socially deprived areas of our inner cities and addressing the deep divide which threatens social cohesion and stability in our own children's generation and far into the future. What's more, charitable legacies do not attract Inheritance Tax and will therefore reduce the overall tax burden on your estate.

We have suggested some wording below, but a solicitor or other professional will be able to guide you and amend the wording to reflect your wish to leave a residual legacy, a cash gift or a restricted gift.

I bequeath to United Church Schools Trust, registered charity number 1016538, of 23 Chapel Street, Titchmarsh, Northamptonshire NN14 3DA ........ to be applied to the Jubilee Fund of the said Charity.

For further information or to let us know your kind intentions, please call Carrie Cocke, Development Director, on 020 7681 6476 or carrie.cocke@ult.org.uk. We don't ask for details, but knowing about your generosity enables us to thank you, and to keep you informed and involved in the same way as other donors.
